About The Open Tryout

We are excited to extend an invitation to 12U hockey players from the tri-state area to try out on June 1 & 2 (Session 1) or June 8 & 9 (Session 2) at the Palisades Center Ice Rink, for the PeeWee Rangers tournament team. Each session will be the same. These 2-day tryouts are a golden opportunity for players to showcase their skills to potentially earn a spot on the team.

Players selected to the team will train with the expectation of representing the New York Rangers at the 2025 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament and compete against the best young hockey players in the world.

The team will be coached by NYR Alumni Brian Mullen and Boo Nieves.

Showcase Your Skills

By participating in this open tryout, players will be evaluated by Rangers Alumni, professional & collegiate coaches and scouts. Select players will be chosen to advance to the next stage of tryouts.

Then if you're selected to join the team, you'll receive top-notch coaching, training, and an unforgettable international experience as you represent the New York Rangers at the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.
