Space is still available for the June 17 & 18th session.
About The Open Tryout
We are excited to extend an invitation to 12U hockey players from the tri-state area to try out on June 10 & 11, 2023 at the Palisades Center Ice Rink, for the PeeWee Rangers tournament team. This 2-day tryout is a golden opportunity for players to showcase their skills to potentially earn a spot on the team.
Players selected to the team will train with the expectation of representing the New York Rangers at the 2024 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament and compete against the best young hockey players in the world.
The team will be coached by NYR Alumnus Brian Mullen.
Showcase Your Skills
By participating in this open tryout, players will be evaluated by Rangers Alumni, professional & collegiate coaches and scouts. Select players will be chosen to advance to the next stage of tryouts.
Then if you're selected to join the team, you'll receive top-notch coaching, training, and an unforgettable international experience as you represent the New York Rangers at the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.
In addition to the on-ice portion of the try-out, all camp attendees are invited to the exclusive panel discussions with our coaches and evaluators featuring former NHL players, NCAA coaches, and certified agents/advisors who will share their expertise and insights (see FAQ below for more info).
Scheduling will be broken into a morning group and an afternoon group. The exact ice schedule and panel timing are being finalized.
Athletes are expected to show up for both days. One hour of ice time each day. (See FAQ below for more info.)
