Mon. | Jan. 23rd, 2023 |  Brewster, NY

ABOUT THE TRAINING CAMP
Join us on Monday, January 23rd at Brewster Ice Arena for an exclusive stickhandling clinic with NHL legend, Olympic Gold Medalist and Stanley Cup Champion, Alex Kovalev. This clinic focuses on speed with the puck, creativity and puck protection. With so much of today’s game designed to open up the ice and showcase skill, the need to develop a deep set of tricks is more important than ever.

ABOUT ALEXEI KOVALEV

Kovalev became the first player born in Russia to be selected in the first round of the NHL Draft when the New York Rangers took him with the No. 15 pick in 1991, and he was known for his stickhandling, passing and superb wrist shot during a 19-season career.

He joined the Rangers in 1992-93, taking on a bigger role in 1993-94, contributing in 23 Stanley Cup Playoff games to help the Rangers win their first championship since 1940. We would go on to play 19 seasons in the NHL with NYR, PIT, MTL, OTT and FLA.

After his retirement from the NHL in 2014, Kovalev continued his career through various coaching and executive roles.
