Join former NHL goaltender Steve Valiquette in this youth ice hockey goaltending clinic. Participants will receive hands-on coaching from a seasoned pro. Valiquette covers essential skills to excel in the world of ice hockey. This clinic is an opportunity to learn from the best, gain confidence, and enhance one's love for the position.

Each station, inclusive of specific skating sessions, will help everyone participating take away helpful training tips that will carry into next season and beyond.

Instructors will do their best to alter the drills to add more or less difficulty based on individual goal skills.

About Steve Valiquette

Steve Valiquette is an Emmy award winning analyst for MSG Networks and coverages the New York Rangers. Valiquette played in the NHL for parts of six seasons with three teams, including the New York Rangers and New York Islanders. Valiquette made his first NHL start with the Islanders on March 16, 2000 in a 4-2 win against the Atlanta Thrashers. The popular goaltender made his NHL playoff debut with the Rangers in 2009 against the Washington Capitals. After a 15-year playing career Valiquette joined the Quinnipiac Bobcats NCAA Division 1 coaching staff in 2011. In 2012-2013 he worked for the New York Islanders as a goalie consultant developing goalies within the Islanders system as well as scouting. Additionally, Valiquette has a hockey analytics business, which rates scoring chances in the NHL and mentors young goalies across Connecticut and Tri State area.
